Believe it or not, now is an opportune time to review your real estate portfolio and set goals - short term and long term. I can help. I'd be happy to meet with you to discuss your goals and prepare a report analyzing the current value of your home and other real estate holdings. It might be time for you to consider making a move, venturing into income property or diversifying some of your stock investments into real estate holdings.

My kids and I have it pegged - Colorado's winter weather arrives just before Halloween. This year it looks like business as usual. Here's a quick check list to get your home ready for the season.
Sprinkler system Have your sprinkler system blown out in order to prevent it from freezing and leaking.
Caulking and weather stripping Inspect the caulking and weather stripping around windows and doors and check for cracking and peeling.
Ceiling fans Reverse the direction of ceiling fans so the blades turn clockwise, forcing force warm air around the room.
Furnace Have your furnace tuned including changing the filter and making sure the thermostat is working.
Heating ducts Ducts should be cleaned every two years.
Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors Test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and install fresh batteries.
Gutters Clean your gutters to prevent clogs that can cause rainwater spill over or back up and freeze.
I can refer you to good trades people. Give me a call if you need some help.
